Our Story

Bringing Hibachi Magic to Maine Homes

It all started with a simple idea: why should the incredible hibachi experience be limited to restaurants? Maine's stunning landscapes — from the rocky coast of Bar Harbor to the serene lakes of Moosehead — deserve a dining experience just as extraordinary.

Our founders, passionate about Japanese culinary arts and New England hospitality, launched Hibachi At Home Maine to give local families, couples, and businesses the chance to enjoy professional hibachi entertainment in the comfort of their own spaces.

Since our first event in Portland, we've grown to serve hundreds of happy customers throughout Maine — from Kittery in the south to Presque Isle in the north. We've cooked at lakeside cabins in the Lakes Region, oceanfront homes in Kennebunkport, mountain retreats near Sugarloaf, and urban backyards in Bangor and Lewiston.

Every event is unique, and we bring the same dedication, skill, and showmanship whether we're cooking for 8 guests or 80.
